And fallout is contamination that includes tiny metal particles from industrial sites, brake dust, and road film. It comes from various places like railway areas, factories, even just a drive down a Highway.

While the discs, brake calipers are getting excessively hot. It will dry up all chemicals spray on. So, you will need to rinse the entire rim with water to eliminate any grit or grime that can harm the wheel when scrubbing.

Using a good car wheel cleaning spray and allow 60 seconds for the wheel cleaner to sink into the rim.

Make sure the cleaner gets into all of the nooks and crevices of the wheel because this is where dust collects.

The best car wheel cleaner? No need, you just need to use an iron dissolving wheel cleaner.

How to clean car tires and rims quickly?

We know there are many ways for cleaning tires and wheels in car detailing. Some are simple, others are complicated.

There are 3 major problems that affect how to get rims clean with car tires at the same time:

  • As you noticed, there are hard stuff like rail dust stick on car rims. These are tiny metal particles that cause micro-scratches. And, using brush to clean car rims results in scratching car rims. The more pressure with brush, the more chance to scratch the finish such as on gloss black wheels.
  • Plus, sport wheel spoke configuration is fairly intricate with small openings. It prevent you from thoroughly cleaning behind the spokes.
  • The tire shine often leaves your tires looking all glossy and oily. It will attract dust accumulate more and more.

So, we will follow these Step-by-Step as follows:

Step 1: Rinse Away Dust and Grime

Most people don’t realize how gentle we need to be with their rims to ensure that all the protective layers and paint remain intact. In order to ensure that your washing routine prevents scratching, we have some hand wash packages to wash and protect your car.

We will start by giving your rims a thorough rinse from top to bottom. A good rinse will cover the whole wheel, including around the barrel.

This initial rinse will help remove the superficial layer of brake dust and grime that’s accumulated. And, it will cool down all hot parts safely.

Our goal here at EZ is to remove these contaminants and restore your paint’s original luster. So, stubborn road grime is our enemy. But we need to wash your car properly in order to preserve the integrity and good looks of your vehicle’s paintwork, and minimize surface scratching. And it’s take a lot of time to get the job done.

Most popular car wash & detailing are heavily depend on strong cleaner chemicals. We are not like that.

For those stubborn, caked-on brake dust deposits, we will need to bring out the big guns: iron remover. Spray it onto the rims and watch as it turns purple. That’s the sign it’s working, dissolving the iron particles that make up brake dust. And we can minimize the chance of cosmetic and structural damage by physical scratch.

Rinse the iron remover off thoroughly after a minute or two.

Next, it’s time to eliminate all that oily grime. There will be oily residues on both front and rear wheel rims. These oily grime is the root cause that dust attract to your rims quickly.

We will spray a quality degreaser all over the rims, making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. Then, for the best results, our detailers will use a detailing brush to really scrub the degreaser into the rims.

Last on the list we have the tires. It’s time to clean rubber material from accumulated contamination. Some are old tire dressings, and antioxidants responsible for browning. A high pH foaming action combined with brush agitation will pull the contamination out of the pores of the rubber for a deep clean.

And, a final rinse the wheels and tires again with clean water to remove any remaining product residue. This last step is to ensure that no chemicals are left behind. Otherwise, they can cause stains or long-term damage.

Then, we will apply a water based dressing. And you’re going to see a huge difference with nice deep black and slightly matte look. Once the product has been applied and is dry, it provides a hydrophobic layer that will help to protect the surface beneath it. It’s repelling water and dirt, too.

We suggest short term or long term protection for your vehicles. And to prevent dust build up on your paint. It depends on your time and the way you use your car. Anti-static agent wheel protection will help drying and  prevent water spots.

And you can clean car tires and rims quickly next time. Not this firs time DEEP CLEAN.
